Portable Data Acquisition and Analysis System
The challenge
Neosoft has designed a fully portable system that enables the reading and analysis of various types of signals from multiple sensors, including voltage, current, frequency, digital signals, load cells, and more.
The system is composed of one or several rugged hard cases integrating universal acquisition modules, all required connectors, and a laptop computer dedicated to system configuration, data visualization, and signal analysis.
A Centralized and Scalable Interface
The AKI System was developed based on an existing platform that has been completely redesigned to provide a more centralized and ergonomic interface.
New features include support for load cell signal acquisition and the integration of all communication interfaces into a single, user-friendly environment that is faster and easier to configure.
The software was developed using LabVIEW (National Instruments) and runs on the Windows operating system.
On the hardware side, the hard cases contain several acquisition modules mounted on a CompactDAQ chassis, connected to the laptop via USB.
The result is a lightweight, robust, and easily transportable solution, ideal for performing key measurements directly in the field. The system is highly modular and scalable, capable of handling a large number of channels simultaneously depending on user needs and hardware capacity.
Results
Despite a very tight development schedule, the project was successfully delivered on time thanks to careful planning and the dedication of Neosoft’s engineering team.
The result is a powerful, flexible, and portable solution that enables operators to collect and analyze multi-sensor data with high precision and efficiency, directly in the field.
