Biaxial Tensile

Contact Us

In collaboration with Professor Dr. Richard Leask from the Leask Laboratory at McGill (http://leask-lab.mcgill.ca/), Professor Dr. Elena Di Martino from the Univercity of Calgary and the help of the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC – http://www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca/index_fra.asp), we have built an open and flexible Biaxial tensile specifically position for tissues.

The system allows for displacement by force or distance with a precision in the µm and impeccable repeatability. You have the option to build your own displacement profile or use a default profile. It is also possible to add a camera in order to constantly track, measure and monitor the specimen through the experiment.
